M2M2 and CDS Defence & Security Secure Future Army Trainer Capability Contract

M2M2 in partnership with CDS Defence & Security (CDS DS) has signed a new, three-year contract to deliver the British Army’s Trainer Capability (ATC) programme, providing accreditation, assurance, and further training opportunities for more than 2500 Army trainers a year.
Working alongside trainers from the Army’s trainer school of excellence, the joint M2M2/CDS DS team enables new learners to achieve a Level 3 Award in Education and Training through City & Guilds as well as a suite of optional Level 3 to Level 7 ILM Coaching and Mentoring qualifications.
Major Jason Hill, SO2 Army Trainer Capability, Professional Development, emphasised that the Army Trainer Capability is ‘the premier trainer accreditation programme for the British Army’.
Announcing the Army’s renewed partnership with M2M2/CDS DS, he said: “This partnership has significantly influenced the cultural landscape, exposing over 20% of the Army to the values of coaching and mentoring within education and training. Furnishing our Junior and Senior leadership cohort with through life skills, whilst improving the lived experience within the British Army.”
