Congratulations to Commander Stéphan Jollard of the French Navy and formerly of NATO, who is the first graduate of M2M2’s Professional Doctorate programme. Here he is shown with his Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice certificate from Cardiff Metropolitan University, M2M2’s academic partner for the Professional Doctorate.

M2M2 developed and now manages the NATO Professional Doctorate programme for more than 50 senior staff at NATO Strategic Allied Command Transformation (SACT) based in Norfolk, USA, and Brussels. The programme is made up of a mix of taught modules and diverse pathways to complete the doctoral assessment. Four candidates are expected to achieve their doctorates this year, and the programme will ultimately embrace seven cohorts of 10 or more candidates.

M2M2's Managing Director (Academic), Dr Andy Miles praised Commander Jollard's achievement. He said: 'Stéphan has been a very strong candidate whose Diploma research made a genuine contribution to our understanding of coaching and mentoring in a military context. We are delighted to have enabled his success.'
