Level 3, our first level qualification, is an introduction to coaching and mentoring.

This level is perfect for learners who wish to gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively coach or mentor people in their workplace. It teaches and develops understanding and practice of the learner as a coach or mentor and is a great starting place for anyone beginning a career in coaching and / or mentoring.
The level 5 qualification is aimed at managers and those with significant responsibility for effective coaching and mentoring as part of their daily role in an organisation.

It is ideal for people who wish to move into a
development role or work as freelance coaches
or mentors. Level 5 on the vocational qualifications
framework is considered to be the equivalent level
of study to the second year of a bachelor’s degree.
The qualification caters for both the strategic
implementation of a mentoring programme and
developing the student as a coach or mentor.

Level 7 provides candidates with the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to coach or mentor leaders or managers at the executive or senior level. M2M2 will ensure that candidates are able to apply the knowledge and skills within both the civilian and military contexts.

Level 7 on the vocational qualifications framework
is considered to be the equivalent level of study
to a master’s degree. The terms ‘Executive’ and
‘Senior’ denote the level of role(s) undertaken rather
than the specific job title of ‘Executive’ or ‘Senior’
person. This means people within the organisation
who hold responsibilities that may include
resources, people, strategy or operations.

Leadership and Management
M2M2’s suite of qualifications starts at Level 3 (ideal for team leaders / junior managers) and ascends to Level 7 (suited to senior managers, such as a CEO).
Each level can be achieved at Award, Certificate, or Diploma status depending on the number of credits gained at that level. Courses are also available without qualifications for an individual’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Qualification levels are set by regulatory frameworks and broadly equate to levels of management position. They also indicate a qualification’s level of complexity. As you climb the levels, the qualifications demand more complex, comprehensive skills and knowledge.

The Level 3 Award is ideal for individuals who have management responsibilities but no formal training and, are serious about developing their abilities. The course particularly supports practising team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people through organisational change, budget cuts, or other pressure.

The level 5 qualification develops skills and experience, improving performance and preparing individuals for senior management responsibilities.

Level 7 qualifications are designed for existing and aspiring senior managers who recognise they must satisfy various stakeholders and want to invest in their own personal brand.

The courses enable learners to create organisational and personal impact through high-level engagement with practice, innovation, and critical thinking, underpinned by practical and applied research and the application of theoretical frameworks.

Learners can opt to study for the Award, Certificate or Diploma. Should a learner wish to study for the Diploma, they must complete the Certificate Unit first.
