After two years of planning and preparation, today sees the launch of ‘Daphne’, the boat carrying Force Atlantic, the British Army’s four-man crew in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 2019 – the world’s toughest row.

In addition to completing the mentally and physically demanding 3000-mile race, the team hopes to make Kingsman Kian Helm (18) the fastest teenager to row across the Atlantic, breaking the previous record of 43 days and 21 hours.

As well as supporting Force Atlantic financially, M2M2 has provided mentoring and preparatory physiological testing to the crew.

Duncan Sibbald, M2M2 Director, said “Not only have we been delighted to help and are immensely proud to be involved as sponsors, we now consider Rich Hall and the team to be very good friends of the company. We wish them every success on their journey”.
